It takes a village to build a robust community and organize as many events as we do. Here are just a few people who are instrumental in making the Python community in the Bay Area awesome.
James Abel
James is a VP of Engineering at Nocimed and a long time member of SF Python. He’s helping with talks line-up and speaker coordination.
Simeon Franklin
A father of 3, Simeon teaches at Twitter and often refers to himself as “Grace’s side-kick”. He’s been helping SFPython since 2013! He’s instrumental with teaching at Project Night, selecting talks and workshops for PyBay, building the conference’s website, and fire-fighting everything. He’s currently very busy building a sustainable straw-bale house in the Central Valley…
Grace Law
Grace founded SFPython in 2008 and still handles operations and sponsorships. She’s also the Chair of the annual PyBay conference. When she’s not working to enhance the Python community and ecosystem, you’ll find her teaching yoga or snowboarding in Tahoe.
Daniel Pyrathon
Daniel got his start in software thanks to an awesome Python community in Italy and he’s super devoted to paying it forward. When he’s not at his startup or biking, he's lining up talks for SF Python and helping out with PyBay.

Tanya is passionate about community and education. Her background is in project management and L&D. In SF Python Tanya handles operations and sponsorships, as well as enhancing the community. She believes in the power of learning and collaboration with others to create something awesome.
